The healthcare industry faces significant challenges that threaten the quality of patient care and the efficiency of health services. A disconnected healthcare system, characterized by shortages in almost every field, underutilization of technology, isolated data, soaring costs, and deteriorating health outcomes, is a pressing concern. Patients in hospitals, care homes, and those struggling with mental health issues bear the brunt of these inefficiencies. Medi Bridge Network emerges in response to these issues with three pivotal strategies.
Digital Health Solutions That Work for Everyone: At the heart of Medi Bridge Network's mission is the deployment of digital health technologies designed to serve the entire spectrum of health and care professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers. We prioritize accessibility, the seamless flow of health data and interoperability, ensuring that digital health tools are accessible and effective for all stakeholders.

Bridging The Digital Divide: The digital divide poses a formidable barrier to equitable healthcare access, disproportionately affecting underserved communities and areas without high-speed internet and lacking in hospital infrastructure. Medi Bridge Network is committed to bridging this gap by facilitating the integration of broadband services and digital tools into healthcare delivery. By collaborating with broadband providers we bring Telehealth and remote patient monitoring to the forefront, especially in regions marginalized by the digital divide.
Effective Use of Data to Achieve Better Health Outcomes: A fragmented healthcare system, plagued by data silos and isolated information significantly hampers the delivery of coordinated and comprehensive care. Medi Bridge Network addresses these challenges head by offering a multi faceted solution of TeleHealth, Broadband and Networking Infrastructure, interoperability and the seamless exchange of information across and within healthcare organizations. These strategies combined set new standards for how health data can be utilized to enhance patient care, ensuring that healthcare providers can access and share critical patient information effortlessly, leading to better informed decisions, reduced care fragmentation, and ultimately, superior health outcomes for patients.
Providing innovative and comprehensive access to care
Medi Bridge Network was founded in Ohio by Lisa Dials. With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Lisa has specialized in hospital medicine, particularly in the past 11 years. She earned her MBA in healthcare administration, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of healthcare. This extensive background in healthcare has served as the inspiration for starting Medi Bridge Network with the aim of addressing the gaps in healthcare delivery for vulnerable patients experiencing significant barriers to care and to improve access to care with new innovative care models and technology.
The business concept of the company emerged from the Founder initiating in January 2023 Community Health Assessments in underserved Ohio Counties to understand the financial and quality impact of nurse shortages on health care delivery and in developing business relationships with health management and financial consultants to build a business development plan. This business development plan involved the company in conducting, during fiscal year 2023 market research and analysis, developing goals and objectives, and entering strategic alliances and vendor relationships to identify the following five actions to create a virtual health opportunity:
1. Leverage the full value of eHealth investment to work with Government Medicare and Medicaid Health Insurance Programs, Commercial Insurance Programs, Self-Insured Employers, and the uninsured market to expand digital tools and resources in addition, addressing the Social Determinants of Health by providing a comprehensive approach to transition in care management, family medicine, wellness, RN shortage in nursing homes and the current mental health crisis.
2. Collaborate with Broadband Providers to Integrate digital tools into health care delivery with remote patient monitoring.
3. Refine technology strategy to support health data flow and Interoperability
4. Support a health data strategy to investigate care patterns and to improve patient centered care and health outcomes, reduce fragmented care and healthcare data silos.
5. Maintain strategic momentum and sustainability through investment and strategic alliances/partnerships to improve digital access and health outcomes of vulnerable patients and drive value to stakeholders across the healthcare continuum.
The Business Development Plan helped shaped the organization and management of the company that is similar to an Independent Practice Association (IPA) to protect the private practice of individual physicians and creates the risk that patients become subject to the Corporate Practice of Medicine.
In addition, the business development plan helps close the digital divide with virtual care in under-resourced health communities where 1 million and >300,000 household Ohioans and 42,000,000 Americans do not have access to high-speed internet. Medi Bridge Network will build digital and quality management infrastructures to support the panel of physicians and APRN’s to deliver and bill for chronic care management, post discharge for hospitals and skilled nursing facilities, RN virtual, family medicine, wellness, and psychotherapy programs.
